JAQUELINE'S COMPLETE DISCOGRAPHY:
Here's the complete list of Jaqueline's discography, including long forgotten demos, yet unreleased material, and all other rarieties. Most of the old demos are extremely hard to get a hold of. Here goes, in chronological order:
 |
Fall of 1998:
(Bandname: Tapewormblitzer)
Format: Homemade demo CD.
Label/Distribution: No / No.
Copies: 100 numbered copies
Status: Almost non-existent |
Oddly named Tapewormblitzer, the three-piece made it's obscure EP debut in the fall of 1998 with this 5-track demo CD, recorded in the attic of Eirik Berg (Bjarne's dad) former residence in Midtskogen, outside of Elverum. The recording was made using an eight-track tape-recorder borrowed from a kind fellow Elverum-rocker, Bjørn Håkon Håkonsen (cheers mate). Around this time, the guys were only about 15 years old. Frankly speaking, the sound quality of the recording is shit, and so are the songs, which could be classified as classic rock with some punk influences. Produced by the band themselves.
 |
Around christmas 1998 :
(Bandname: Tapewormblitzer)
Format: Homemade demo CD.
Label/Distribution: No / No.
Copies: N/A. Almost none!
Status: Almost non-existent |
Still carrying the name Tapewormblitzer, the three-piece made another strange demo EP, using Håkonsen's eight-track tape-recorder again, around christmas-time in 1998. A community youth club provided the impromptu "studio facilities". The EP features 5 tracks, and stands as the most freakish of efforts yet recorded by the band to this date. Genre-wise, we are talking very dense alternative rock. Produced by the band themselves.
 |
Spring of 1999:
(Bandname: Dharma Garage)
Format: Homemade demo CD.
Label/Distribution: No / No.
Copies: N/A. Probably around 100.
Status: Almost non-existent |
At this time, the band had changed their name to Dharma Garage. The EP consists of four tracks, ranging from soft ballads to high-speed, up-tempo rockers. Recorded at Space Valley Studio, Stange, and Asbjørn Holmseth's home studio in Elverum. "Number Three EP" marks the first time the band included external producers in recording sessions. Produced by Henning Ramseth (Ram-Zet), Asbjørn Holmseth (Abe, Thank Williams), alongside the band themselves.
 |
Spring of 2000:
(Bandname: Dharma Garage)
Format: Homemade demo CD.
Label/Distribution: No / Local distribution in Elverum.
Copies: N/A. Probably around 300.
Status: Extremely rare |
The trio's fourth EP-effort resulted in the somewhat successful "Sing Me A Song I Sing Along EP" in the spring of 2000. The band was still named Dharma Garage. This EP was rewarded with some decent reviews in the local papers in Elverum, and some copies were sold in the local recordshops. The EP consists of six songs. Two of these songs, "Swallow" and "Tale of Stigmata" were later heavily re-arranged and adapted for Jaqueline's debut album, "Idiots" as "Slow Motion" and the title-track - "Idiots". Style-wise, the EP is absolutely schizophrenic - ranging from pure pop/rock-songs, to AC/DC-rip-offs, to almost folk-ish tunes. Recorded at Space Valley Studio, Stange. Produced by Henning Ramseth (Ram-Zet) and the band themselves.
 |
2000/2001:
(Bandname: Dharma Garage)
Format: Unreleased recording sessions
Label/Distribution: No / No.
Copies: None.
Status: Never released in any form |
The trio, still named Dharma Garage, recorded about 10 songs with recording artist and producer Thomas Meidell Wien (Samuel Jackson Five, No We've Got Members) throughout 2000 - 2001. The musically liberal Wien did a lasting impression on the band. Throughout these songs, the band genre-wise starts to grow sonically recognizable - when compared to Jaqueline today. Despite the relative decent quality on several of these tracks, the material was never released in any form. Recorded at several different locations, using Wien's digital home studio. Produced by Thomas Meidell Wien and the band themselves.
